Hi friends, In our last blog, we have talked about “Uniqueness” or special characteristics on which we should focus while advertise our product or service. In this article, we will see benefits of one ad format that is “Video-Ad”. A Video-Ad is promoting product or service or branding by demonstration its usage, characteristics, applications, importance, benefits, attraction, promotion, introduction etc. via showing a video clip with attractive audio and video visuals. It’s very simple in understanding that print advertisement can’t show or demonstrate the true sense of product with the appeal compared to Video-Ad, cause print ad doesn’t have multiple frames, audio, motion visual effects, usage demonstration, benefit demonstration with real people usage and testimonials.
All of us know TV and TV-Commercials, okay? that’s the main stream advertising which we can say Video advertisement or Video-Ad. Now the viewers and population of Video-Ad is far more vast than compared to print advertisement (newspaper, magazine, flex banners, hoardings, pamphlets, books etc.) cause the print ad circulation is done by physical distribution, while TV’s Video-Ads are aired to thousands of villages, cities and areas via TV broadcasting. So wherever TV can show programs or any content, publisher can display/show their product/branding ads via TV. Similarly in current changing time, the technology is moving so fast and Internet usage is increasing so fast that almost every area of our country have covered by internet via devices like computers, laptops, smart TV, mobile, tablets, kiosk, gadgets etc. So Internet is almost same spread compared to TV or satellite TV. Now come to our format, publisher and companies have now a STRONG and ACTIVE alternative of TV for publishing the Video-Ads with comparatively very low budget.
“With the popularity of video sites like YouTube, Vimeo, Vine, and now Instagram video content is exploding on the internet. Every month, 4 billion videos are streamed in the US by 75 million people. That's 1/4th of the entire U.S. population! It's no wonder that, according to Uberflip, 87% of marketers use video in their content marketing efforts, while only 66% use blogs, and 44% use articles and/or photo galleries. Currently YouTube is king of the jungle, with 2 billion videos streamed each year. This makes sense given that YouTube is the second-largest online search engine online, only behind its parent company Google! Video ad spend is also growing fast. In fact, by 2015 $6.3 billion dollars will be spent on video ads.” – Source: Uberflip & http://dashburst.com/video/state-of-video-in-2013/
